How To Make Delicious Salads With Chicken

There is a time in everyone's life when it is simply not convenient to make an entire meal for the whole family from scratch. For anyone strapped for time, a slow cooker is an indispensable appliance. Nothing is easier or more convenient than throwing a few ingredients into the crock pot and letting it do all the work over the course of the day.

Picnic lunch doesn't have to consist of drab sandwiches. I love making this zesty slow cooker mediterranean chicken. Its fantastic in greens, as noted in my recipe below, or even to add to tri colored pasta with the same dressing or a red wine vinaigrette. Grab a bottle of vino, some plastic flutes and whip up this salad in no time to enjoy with your hunny. If you're not a spicy fan, simply remove the crushed red pepper. It's easy as pie.

Taco soup is a delicious option to traditional tacos. But when you make it with chicken and use a slow cooker, it's not only delicious but it's healthier and easier too. Try this new take on an old soup recipe and see for yourself.

Meanwhile, in another pan, add the tomato puree, white wine, sundried tomatoes, olives, olive oil, oregano, basil, and anchovy paste and cook on medium-low heat while the slow cooker chicken is cooking.

Sweet, slightly tangy, with just a touch of spicy heat, these beans will go well with anything you plan on serving. Hot dogs, burgers, grilled chicken or even a juicy steak would pair well with these sweet, but not too sweet beans.

Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker or crockpot. Cover the pot and cook on low setting for 8 to 10 hours. Remove the chicken from the pot. Pour the chicken broth through a strainer and store in the refrigerator in a covered container. Allow to chill. As soon as the mediterranean chicken and hummus is cool enough to handle, remove the meat from the bones, discarding the skin and bones. Store chicken in another covered container in the refrigerator to use as needed.
